THE 411 ON MOSQUITOES

It’s no secret Savannah, GA, is home to an abundance of mosquitoes and gnats. (I mean, they used to have a minor league baseball team aptly named the Sand Gnats.)

So, one evening last Fall, my family was having dinner outside at a restaurant and my brother-in-law was bitten by mosquitoes more than 30 times during dinner. And the strange thing was that no one else at the table was bitten…

So, that got me thinking - why did he get bitten and not us? Was it his blood type? Or what he was it what he was eating? Or a cologne he was wearing? Or is it just bad luck?

I decided to investigate and dive into this topic for more info.
